Meet Mike Hadaller
Mike Hadaller was born on January 16, 1964, and was adopted by Dennis and Shirley Hadaller, who raised him in the logging community of Ethel, Washington. He attended Onalaska School through 11th grade and graduated from Mossyrock High School. The Hadaller family has been an integral part of Lewis County since 1889.
From a young age, Mike worked in hay fields and the family shop, and after high school, he followed in his father’s footsteps into logging. Starting as a choker setter, he quickly advanced, and by age 23, he was running a shovel and managing a tower site for Dennis Hadaller Logging.
Throughout his life, Mike has held various positions in the logging industry and owned multiple businesses, giving him firsthand insight into the challenges of hard work, family, and the pressures small businesses face under heavy taxation.
Mike currently serves on the Lewis County PUD Board of Commissioners, where he has worked tirelessly for the community. Within a year, he fulfilled campaign promises, introducing a new senior program, hiring a new manager to streamline operations, cut wasteful spending, and balance the budget without dipping into reserves. Though new to the energy sector, Mike quickly gained the expertise needed to bring accountability and efficiency to the PUD.
As your County Commissioner, Mike will bring the same integrity, dedication, and hands-on approach. He is committed to honest governance, transparency, and making government work for all residents, not just a few. From his involvement in the South County Park to streamlining county operations, Mike demonstrates that he will fight for the people of East Lewis County—the friends, families, and neighbors he sees every day. “I love East Lewis County. These are my classmates, my friends, my friends’ kids, and my family. I will represent all the people, no matter your political choice or financial situation. Together, we can preserve what makes East County the most beautiful part of Lewis County.”
